We do not store or process your credit card numbers or banking credentials on our systems; however, we retain subscriber metadata (plan tier, renewal date, and customer ID) through Stripe.
Communications: If you contact us directly via email or our support channels, we may receive your email address, message contents, and attachments to assist you with troubleshooting.
Information We Collect When You Use Our Services
Cookies & Local Authentication: We store minimal session identifiers and local preference tokens to keep you logged in and preserve your UI preferences (such as dark mode and selected billing cycle).
Zero Cloud Media Storage: RK Downloader streams and decrypts requested media directly into your local machine storage. We never store, mirror, or buffer your downloaded videos or photos on our servers.
System Diagnostics: For quality assurance, rate-limiting, and fraud prevention, our server infrastructure records standard web logs including IP address, operating system, browser user-agent, and request timestamps.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our download services and client applications
- Verify active PRO and MAX subscription entitlements and license keys
- Improve, personalize, and expand the reliability of our downloader tools
- Process payment transactions and handle renewal billing via Stripe
- Communicate with you for customer support, service alerts, and critical security notices
- Detect, prevent, and mitigate malicious bot traffic, abuse, and fraudulent activities
