Use RK Downloader in Brave & Opera

Chromium-based browsers can usually load the Chrome package. Behaviour can vary by browser and version.

What to know

Chrome package
Use the same ZIP as Chrome; there is no separate build for these browsers.
Extensions address
Brave: brave://extensions. Opera: opera://extensions.
Shields and blockers
Brave Shields or Opera's ad blocker can hide the download button on some pages.
Not supported
Firefox and Safari can't load this package.

Install

    Download and extract the ZIP
    Save the package and extract it to a folder you will keep.

    Turn on Developer mode
    Open your browser's extensions page and switch on Developer mode.
  3. 3
    Load unpacked
    Choose Load unpacked and select the folder that contains manifest.json.
  4. 4
    Test one item
    Open a post you can view and download a single photo to confirm it works.
No download button in Brave?
Click the Brave Shields icon in the address bar and turn Shields down for the site, then refresh the page.
